DLA Piper’s Northern California offices hosted an exclusive wine talk with award-winning sommelier Martin Sheehan-Stross. Martin chatted with us about locally sourced California wines from rising star winemakers. Following his presentation, smaller networking groups continued the conversation and reconnected with colleagues.
Martin is recognized as one of America’s Best New Sommeliers by Wine & Spirits Magazine and is a winner of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Young Sommelier International Competition. He is currently Lead Sommelier at Michael Mina San Francisco.
This limited capacity event offered an opportunity to experience a fresh and nuanced side of California wines and to support our local community of small and specialty winemakers. Martin also sourced four delicious non-alcoholic refreshments with their own appealing flavor profiles.
